Where I came from

I was born & raised in Port Angeles, WA a beautiful, green, small town on the peninsula right on the ocean. My family owned a restaurant almost my whole life. I graduated from Capital High School in Olympia and shortly after became a receptionist at an Insurance Agency. This was the beginning of my insurance career. Shortly after I started I was given the opportunity to get licensed as work in the commercial lines assistant. It pretty much just took off from there. I have been doing insurance for 8 years now, and I have experience in everything from ocean marine, transportation, homeowners, business insurance to life, health and annuities.

My family decided to move to CA for better weather. As beautiful and green as Washington State is, it is grey and drippy. This move sounded like a perfect idea to me, I was immediately on board. I put in my two weeks and said goodbye to a lifelong list of friends and relatives.

Once I arrived here, I realized that I had two choices. Either work for myself, or work for someone else. For the past 8 years I have been trying to change they way people view my industry. A lot of people see insurance as a necessary evil and don't trust their agent. I want the opportunity to prove that it is possible to have an agent who helps you, saves you money, helps you save for your retirement, does personal insurance reviews and doesn't forget about you as well as provides you with the best products, quotes and advise in a timely fashion. Advise you can trust, without having to reaffirm it. I realized quickly that it would be hard to do this while working for someone else, having to do things the way they've always been done.

I recently opened my own insurance agency selling Home, Auto, Boat, RV, ATV's, Umbrella, Life, Health & Annuities. My goal is to change how the reputation of the insurance industry one customer at a time. I write insurance for American National. They are an A+ rated carrier that has been writing in California for 10+ years. Their client satisfaction rating with JD Power & Assoc is now "High" and they just keep improving.

I am proud to be a part of this, and I'm excited to be starting such an exciting new chapter in my life. I beleive in young businessowners supporting eachother and mutual promotion as a key factor in success.
